Koray Aldemir wird Runner-Up beim WSOP Event #33 für mehr als $250k

Screen Shot 2016-06-24 at 19.29.28Der Spanier Adrian Mateos ringt unseren Koray Aldemir leider im Heads-Up des Event#33, einem $1.500 Summer Solstice No-Limit Hold’em nieder und gewinnt sein zweites Bracelet. Aldemir ging als Chipleader mit 7,5 Millionen Chips (125 Big Blinds) gegen 6,3 Millionen (104 Big Blinds) des Spaniers in den heutigen finalen Tag. Er konnte seine Chiplead zu Beginn noch weiter ausbauen, bis sich das Blatt zugunsten von Mateos wendete. Die wohl entscheidenste Hand im Heads-Up war Nummer #175. Der Spanier setzte 200.000 am Button und Aldemir reraiste auf 650.000, dies wurde gecallt. Am Flop kam As4d3d, Aldemir setzte 490.000 und sein Gegner geht mit ca. 3,9 Millionen Chips All-in. Bei Koray Aldemir war die Verwunderung über diesen Move ziemlich groß und er frage seinen Kontrahenten „Why would you go all-in?“ und callte. Mateos zeigte 6d5d für einen open-end Straight Flush und Aldemir das Pocket Pair 8s8h. Am Turn kam das Ad für den Flush und der River mit 4h änderte nichts mehr. Dadurch verdoppelte Mateos und übernahm zum ersten Mal im Heads-Up die Führung.

Nach dieser Hand schien es so als ob das Momentum nun bei Adrian Mateos lag, und in der entscheidenden Hand #207 ging Koray mit etwas weniger als 1 Millionen Chips vom Button All-in. Der Österreicher zeigte Ah2s und die Pocket Vierer vom Spanier hielten. Somit darf sich Adrian Mateos bereits über sein zweites WSOP Bracelet und einen Scheck in Höhe von $409.171 freuen. Für den Runner-Up aus Wien gab es immerhin noch $252.805 Preisgeld.

Insgesamt kauften sich 1.840 Spier in dieses $1.500 Buy-in Turnier ein und somit lagen $2.484.000 im Preispool. Außerdem kamen unter anderen noch folgende deutschsprachigen Spieler ins Geld: Bastian Fischer als 16. für $15.874, Sebastian Pauli als 37. für $8.568, Manig Löser als 44. für $8.568 oder Dietrich Fast als 211. für $2.388.
