Der Startschuss f\u00fcr die European Championship Of Amateur Poker<\/strong> ist gefallen \u2013 und im Grand Casino A\u0161\u00a0<\/a>(GCA) \u00a0ging es direkt zur Sache. Noch bis zum 3. Mai stehen insgesamt 15 Events auf dem Spielplan, doch schon der erste Tag hatte einiges an Action zu bieten.<\/p>

Besonders auff\u00e4llig: Die ECOAP wird in diesem Jahr erstmals seit vielen Jahren nicht in Gro\u00dfbritannien ausgetragen. Stattdessen ist Asch Gastgeber \u2013 und das lockt ein internationales Teilnehmerfeld an. Insgesamt neun Nationen sind mit Teams vertreten: Tschechien, Irland, England, die Niederlande, Deutschland, Luxemburg, die Schweiz, Wales und Schottland. Mit Deutschland und der Schweiz sind auch zwei DACH-Teams dabei.<\/p>

England \u00fcbernimmt im Teamwettbewerb<\/h3>

Zum Auftakt stand die \u20ac130+20 International Team Championship<\/strong> auf dem Programm. Gespielt wird ein gemischtes Format aus NLH, PLO und PLO8, verteilt auf drei Runden (zwei Sit & Go\u2019s und ein MTT). Die ersten beiden Runden wurden bereits absolviert, das Finale folgt heute.<\/p>

Nach dem ersten Spieltag hat sich England die F\u00fchrung gesichert. Die Schweiz liegt aktuell auf Rang 3, w\u00e4hrend Deutschland vorerst mit Platz 7 vorliebnehmen muss.<\/p>

Opener: Overlay und Deal zum Schluss<\/h3>

Neben dem Team-Event gab es auch zwei offene Turniere. Im \u20ac70 NLH Opener Championship<\/strong> (\u20ac5.000 GTD) kamen 58 Spieler zusammen, dazu 25 Re-Entries. Die Garantie wurde damit nicht geknackt.<\/p>

Die \u20ac5.000 verteilten sich auf 13 Pl\u00e4tze. Am Ende fiel die Entscheidung nach einem 4-way Deal, bei dem sich Vito Andolini<\/strong> aus Tschechien offiziell den Sieg und \u20ac925 sicherte.<\/p>

PLO Hi\/Lo: Deutscher Sieg durch Walker<\/h3>

Im zweiten Side Event wurde es mit dem \u20ac120 PLO Hi\/Lo Championship<\/strong> etwas spezieller. Hier gingen 33 Spieler an den Start und sorgten zusammen mit f\u00fcnf Re-Entries f\u00fcr einen Preispool von \u20ac3.800.<\/p>

Sechs Spieler erreichten die Preisr\u00e4nge, entschieden wurde das Turnier schlie\u00dflich durch einen 3-Way Deal. Den offiziellen Sieg sicherte sich Simon Walker<\/strong> aus Deutschland, der \u20ac1.015 erhielt.<\/p>
