Einen wahren Spieleransturm gab es beim gestrigen €1.100 Main Event der Italian Poker Tour. Zur Partnerserie der EPT registrierten sich an Tag 1B 556 Spieler, die gemeinsam mit den 219 Entries aus Tag 1A für ein Preispool von €751.750 sorgten.
Der Österreicher Stefan Jedlicka legte am ersten Main Event Starttag 299.100 Chips vor. Zu den 55 Akteuren, die es erfolgreich durch Tag 1A schafften, kamen gestern aus dem zweiten Starttag 159 Teilnehmer hinzu. Den größten Stack konnte mit 294.000 Chips der Franzose Johan Guilbert aufbauen, jedoch reichte dies nicht aus, um den „Mindgamer“ zu übertreffen.
Bester deutschsprachiger Spieler des zweiten Starttages war Ismael Bojang, der seinen Beutel nach 12 gespielten Leveln mit 178.800 Chips befüllen konnte. Ebenfalls sehr gut in das Turnier starteten aus deutscher Sicht Kilian Kramer (170.000) und Thomas Lentrodt (162.200).
