Auf dem Weg dahin erwischte es an Tag 4 einige große Namen. 38 Spieler waren in den Spieltag gestartet. Aliaksandr Shylko (Platz 36, €19.850), Ramon Colillas (Platz 32, €19.850), Andrew Hulme (Platz 16, €39.950) und Artur Martirosian (Platz 14, €45.900) mussten allesamt vor Tag 5 an die Rail.
Von den drei DACH-Hoffnungen blieb nur noch eine übrig. Für Patrick Beuter war es auf Platz 35 Schluss (€19.850), Stefan Huber erwischte es auf Platz 30 (€22.850).
Nur Leonard Maue konnte sich behaupten. Er sitzt mit 2.920.000 Chips auf Platz 4 in der Gesamtwertung und hat damit alle Chancen auf die Main Event Trophäe und die €890.000 Siegpreisprämie.
Vor ihm sitzen Leo Worthington-Leese aus Großbritanien (3,13 Mio. Chips) und Arunas Sapitavicius aus Litauen (4,52 Mio. Chips).
Joachim Haraldstad aus Norwegen Chipleader ist mit 5,63 Mio. Chips führend. Er ist mit über €600.000 an Live-Earnings über viele Jahre ein erfahrener Spieler – €52.750 hat er wie alle anderen verbleibenden bereits sicher. Doch das Ziel ist natürlich größer.
Die Profis Jason Wheeler aus den USA (2,81 Mio. Chips) sowie Mike Watson aus Kanada (2,02 Mio. Chips) haben ebenfalls noch beachtliche Chipstacks. Wer von ihnen sitzt am Samstag in der Entscheidung noch am Tisch?
