Bei der European Poker Tour (EPT) Cyprus Festival im Merit Royal Diamond Hotel & Casino auf Nordzypern wurde am Freitag Tag 4 des $5.300 EPT Cyprus Main Events gespielt und nur noch 16 Spieler sind im Rennen um den Titel.
53 Spieler sind in Tag 4 mit der Hoffnung auf den $1.042.000 schweren Platz 1 an den Start gegangen, 37 davon mussten über die Level hinweg ihren Traum aufgeben.
Unter den Bustouts waren Carl Shaw (Platz 52, $18.700), Dario Sammartino (Platz 29, $24.700), 2010 EPT Monte Carlo Champion Nicolas Chouity (Platz 26, $28.425) und der schwedische Profi Anton Wigg (Platz 18, $37.650)
Auch für einen der zwei DACH-Hoffnungen, Harald Sammer, war in Tag 4 Schluss. Er musste sich mit Ass-Dame gegen Kenny Hallaerts Ass-König auf Platz 25 geschlagen geben — $28.425 gab es dafür.
Dafür schaffte es Yannick Schumacher unter die besten 16 und hat dort bereits $43.275 sicher. Er sitzt mit 1,39 Mio. Chips zwar im hinteren Drittel des Feldes, hat aber noch alle Chancen.
Chipleader ist der Italiener Andrea Dato mit 6,15 Mio. Chips vor dem Niederländer Gilles Simon, der mit 4,43 Mio. Chips in den fünften Spieltag gehen wird.
Der Average Chipstack ist 2.475.000 Chips (62 Big Blinds), Kenny Hallaert hat auf Platz 4 mit 2,96 noch knapp mehr.
Weiter geht es am Samstag um 12:00 Uhr Ortszeit, 37 Minuten sind dann noch bei Blinds 20.000/40.000 zu spielen, bevor diese weiter steigen.
