Seit gut einen Jahr läuft nun schon die „Deutsche King’s Poker Liga“, bei der sich Spieler aus ganz Deutschland bei dem Sachpreisturnierveranstalter ihres Vertrauens für das große Finale qualifizieren konnten. Am Samstagmorgen um 10:00Uhr kamen nun die 733 qualifizierten Pokerfans in der großen King’s Poker Arena zusammen um den Champion zu finden. Alle Spieler hatten eine Wildcard und die Hotelübernachtungen gewonnen, doch im Finale ging es auch noch um ein Preisgeld von €50.000. 71 Akteure schafften es in die Geldränge. Nur 20 Pokercracks durften am Ende des Tages ihre Chips für das Finale eintüten. Sie alle haben schon ein Preisgeld von €430 sicher, doch auf den Sieger warten stolze €10.000. Als Chipleader kommt Frank Gerwig (GER) mit 3.150.000 (31,5 Big Blinds) ins Finale.
Das Finale startet am Sonntag um 13:00Uhr mit den Blinds 50.000/100.000 (Button Ante). Der Average liegt bei 1.832.500 (18,5 Big Blinds). Die Level-Dauer beträgt weiterhin 30 Minuten.
Ab 13:30 Uhr gibt es auch einen Livestream vom Finale mit Hole Cards (30 Minuten zeitversetzt), der auf Deutsch kommentiert wird.
