Brandon Eisen, der den Tag als Chipleader beginnen durfte, schaffte es ohne größere Probleme bis ins Heads-Up. Dort wartete sein amerikanischer Landsmann Jeremy Ausmus, den er in 84 Händen niederrang. Für Eisen, der schon vorher gute Ergebnisse bei Live-Turnieren erzielen konnte, war es mit Abstand der größte Erfolg. Als Sieger der Hard Rock Poker Open fügte der Hawaiianer seiner Bankroll $771.444 hinzu.
