Bei der WPT Slovakia im Card Casino Samorin sollte gestern der Sieger des Main Events und Gewinner von €101.670 + WPT-Package ermittelt werden.
Die Garantie für das €1.100-Turnier lag bei €500.000, aber es war kein Problem, diese mit 589 Entries zu knacken. Am Ende wurde um ein Preisgeld von €559.550 gespielt, der auf die Top 76 verteilt wurde.
Zum gestrigen Finale kehrten elf Spieler zurück, die bereits €8.000 sicher hatten. Aber natürlich lag das Augenmerk auf der Siegprämie von €101.670 + Package.
Am Ende war es der Grieche Artemios Fournaris, der sich nach einem 4-way Deal als Sieger feiern lassen konnte. Er erhielt €71.250 plus ein Package zur WPT World Championship in Las Vegas im Dezember dieses Jahres.
