In der dritten Ausgabe während der HS CGWC war „Bobby James Poker“ der eingeladene VIP. Schon in den ersten Händen wurde klar, dass hier gleich zwei Games in einem gespielt wurden. Während die 5 High Stakes CGWC Qualifikanten ihren durchaus aggressiven Stil herunterspielten, kam Bobby James frisch aus seinem High Stakes Heads-Up gegen Stanley Menzo scheinbar von einem anderen Planeten. Die Spielweise seiner Gegner bezeichnete er als „Nitfest“ und versuchte hochfrequent dem VIP Game und den anderen fünf einzuheizen. Seven-Deuce Game … gone wrong!
Ein besonderes Schmankerl im VIP Game für Spieler und Zuschauer ist das 7-2 Game. In dem Zusatzspiel, in dem es darum geht eine Hand mit der schlechtesten Starthand zu gewinnen (was gewöhnlich ohne Showdown funktionieren muss), zahlt jeder 5 BBs, also $500, in den Extra Prize Pool ein. Ein erfolgreicher 7-2 Bluff bringt also zusätzliche $2.500 ein.
Während in den vergangenen Wochen beim 7-2 Game standardmäßig vor dem Flop, oder spätestens mit der Conti-Bet auf dem Flop, der Extra Prize Pool klar gemacht wurde, hatte auch hier Bobby James in der 3. VIP Game – Die Qualifikation
Wer während der HS CGWC im VIP Game an den Start geht, ist für die Plätze der 5 Qualifikanten klar geregelt. 3-mal sprechen die Zahlen der einzelnen Quali-Kategorien klar für sich, 1-mal entscheidet das Los und 1-mal entscheidet ihr darüber. In dem Fan Voting wird die „Coolste“ Hand der Woche gekürt, die den jeweiligen Spieler zur Teilnahme am VIP Game berechtigt. Die weiteren Plätze an dem 7-handed Cash Game Tisch werden dann durch 1 bis 2 von CoinPoker ausgewählte VIPs besetzt. Je nach Ausgabe (z.B. bei der Mid Stakes CGWC) wird der erste Stack für die Qualifikanten von CoinPoker gesponsert

VIP Game – Regeln
Das VIP Game findet während der High Stakes Cash Game World Championship immer sonntags ab 19:00 Uhr auf CoinPoker statt. Gespielt wird in der Regel 2 Stunden, außer die Teilnehmer vereinbaren untereinander einen längeren Zeitraum. Derzeit wird das VIP Game 6- oder 7-handed mit $10.000 Buy-In bei Blinds $50/$100 mit $33,33 Ante gespielt. Das VIP Game findet an einem Tisch mit der „Show“-Regel statt. Das bedeutet, dass die gewinnende Hand immer für die Gegner am Tisch und damit natürlich auch für die Zuschauer gezeigt wird, ganz egal, ob es zu einem Showdown gekommen ist oder nicht. Darüber hinaus wird das 7-2-Game gespielt, für das jeder Spieler immer 5 BBs, also $500, vor sich liegen hat, die automatisch jedes mal an die Person am Tisch geht, die mit der schlechtmöglichsten Starthand, 7-2, eine Hand gewinnen konnte. – Anschauen kann man sich das Ganze live als Railbird im CoinPoker Client an dem entsprechenden Tisch, live auf dem Twitch- oder YouTube-Kanal der CoinPoker Streamer, oder als Video-Zusammenfassung auf den YouTube-Kanälen „CoinPoker_TV“ oder „BobbyJamesPoker„.
