Beim PokerStars Eureka Poker Tour Festival im King’s Resort Rozvadov fiel gestern die Entscheidung im Main Event.
Zwölf Spieler hatten am Finaltag noch die Chance, sich die begehrte Trophäe und die Siegprämie von über €187.000 zu sichern.
Als klarer Chipleader ging der Rumäne Cristian David in den großen Showdown. Er hatte seinen Stack nach einem guten Start auch an den Folgetagen immer weiter ausgebaut und über 1,5 Millionen Vorsprung auf den besten DACH-Spieler Maik Dehmlow, der auf Platz 2 lag.
Und auch im Finale war David schwer beizukommen, doch ein Spieler schaffte es schließlich, einen noch größeren Stack aufzubauen.
Giorgio Montebelli spielte sich von Platz nach ganz vorn und er war es dann auch, der bei einem Deal der vier verbliebenen Spieler den besten Schnitt machte.
Er kassierte €146.126 und damit deutlich mehr als seine Mitstreiter. Cristian David durfte sich über €110.730, Randy Hofmänner über €102.163 und Maik Dehmlow über €76.814 freuen.
Nach dem Deal wurde noch weiter gepokert, um den offiziellen Turniersieger und Gewinner des Pokals zu ermitteln.
Im Heads-Up mit David setzte sich Giorgio Montebelli hier durch und schaffte damit den totalen Triumph.
